As previously advised, we will be going ahead with a “cautious” reopening of the club from tomorrow, Monday 12th April 2021. As per Government guidelines this will be for outdoor table service only.
We will, on a trial basis, open the club daily from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Monday – Friday and Saturday and Sunday 12 p.m. to 3 p.m.
However, if the weather and temperature permits (unfortunately the temp does seem to drop drastically after 6pm at the moment,) the club may be open longer on these times, which will be entirely up to the discretion of the bar staff working at the time.
Please remember that all bar staff and the committee are unpaid volunteers who give up their free time working to provide a welcoming, social environment for the enjoyment of members and their guests.
To ensure we are compliant there will be a number of rules that we will all have to follow including:
One-way customer flow – entrance through side gate and exit through back gate only Track and trace on entry (QR code or completion of details slip) Hand gel to be applied on entry Table Service only Masks to be worn unless seated Only Bar staff are allowed inside the club’s premises
We’re sure that all members and guests will appreciate the need for such measures and thank you in advance for your cooperation.
Please note, that whilst the mens’ toilets are being converted into a wet room, the Marina has agreed that the ladies’ may be used as a unisex toilet.
The Club Premises remain closed for the period of the current lockdown.
The Committee plan to get back to normal as soon as the restrictions are lifted. Meantime some essential maintenance will be carried out but the current lockdown rules will be observed by those involved.
The Club premises will also be checked regularly for security reasons.
